RPCS3 Can Now Run All PlayStation 3 Games

When it comes to PS3 Emulation no emulator comes close to RPCS3. The emulator has been in development for many years now and RPCS3 can now finally run all released PlayStation 3 games.

Consequently, every native PS3 game that has been released over the past 15 years can now be played on a PC. It’s worth noting that every game is still not in the playable state but this is still a remarkable milestone nevertheless.

The developers of RPCS3 stated that,

“We are delighted to announce that as of today, the RPCS3 Loadable compatibility category has reached 0 GAMES! This means there are no PS3 games left that boot to a black screen on the emulator – every PS3 game at the very least boots and shows image output.”

Clearly, the developers will still work to improve the overall performance of the emulator and make more and more games playable at respectable frame rates. As a matter of fact, some mainstream PS3 titles like Metal Gear Solid 4, Red Dead Redemption, and Uncharted 2 and 3 received major performance improvements this year.

At the time of writing, this article around 67.98% of the entire PS3 library is playable using RPCS3. While you can go in-game in around 28.59% of titles. Lastly, 3.42% of games display images but don’t make it past the menus.
